![]() Dear Greek Scientists Society members,
Happy February to all of you!
Though, February is short, for the Greek Scientists Society will be filled with lots of new programs and initiatives.
Firstly, let me please inform you that we have surpassed the 2 200 members in just two months. Amazing accomplishment as we have just started. Nothing would have happened unless we had the kind assistance of many of our members - especially from our Diaspora - and I would like to thank personally, each and every one of you.
You have our highest appreciation and we are taking this chance we wish to name some of our most active members below.
We believe that we have the ability to make a difference in our Society and we are dedicated to serving our members and the Greek Scientists all over the world.
Wish to support us and participate voluntarily in our venture? See how you can you participate at the end of this newsletter.
We announce our plans to establish the first Biomakespaces in Athens and Nicosia based on the model of Cambridge Biomakespaces Today, we are announcing our plan to establish the first Biomake Spaces in Greece and Cyprus based on Cambridge Biomakespace model building a multi-disciplinary community for collaborative experimentation at the interface of Biology and Engineering (and of course of ICT) with an eye to emerging technologies in the field of Synthetic Biology.
We invite Scientists (Biologists, Engineers, Informaticians, and other disciplines), Technologists, Entrepreneurs, Teachers, and Citizens interested in Engineering with Biology to express their interest to develop their ideas and projects in an equipped lab and prototyping space where they will facilitate their Proof of Concepts and assist them to found their Start-up.
We seek to develop close relations with Biomakespace Cambridge – participation in the Community, in Hackathons and for this, we encourage our members to subscribe to the Biomakespace Cambridge newsletter for more information on upcoming activities.
